Land Acknowledgement

  As students and educators of OCAD University, we acknowledge the ancestral and traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe and the Huron-Wendat. We acknowledge the land in which we are situated and our collective role in maintaining the land itself. Franz Fanon states that decolonization is an ongoing process (Fanon, 2008). As students and educators, we pledge to aid decolonization through our work at OCAD University.
